WELL IM A PIG… AND THIS YEAR IT’S CATS AND RABBITS. WHY CAN’T I BE A HORSE OR A COW?

The Chinese zodiac is shared by a number of nations.. with some small differences and changes for this year

Vietnam and neighbouring China share 10 of the zodiac calendar's 12 signs —But in 2023 the Vietnamese honour the cat instead of the rabbit. This is a rare occurrence.

And also

Koreans have traditionally added a year to their age on Lunar New Year’s Day but that will change this year. Under the traditional system, babies were considered a year old on the day they were born, with a year added every New Year’s Day, which made their Korean age a year or two older than their “international age”.

However, as of June 2023, this ancient (and often confusing) system will end, and Korea will follow the global standard where everyone ages on their personal birthday. Strange but true!

This pic was taken in a town called Paterson. North of Sydney in the Hunter Valley region near a little café in town.. I did a makeover at the local pub and ‘single ready to mingle’ local lad Pete got the once over and some interested ladies. 😊

So back to the Pig (if all that above wasn’t enough bloody info) … This sums me up I guess… Pigs are diligent, compassionate, and generous. They have great concentration: once they set a goal, they will devote all their energy to achieving it. Though Pigs rarely seek help from others, they will not refuse to give others a hand.

So what is your zodiac animal???
